Wheel of Fortune is an easy way for you to bring fun, smiles, and laughter to your classroom, as well as entertain yourself in the process. The goal is that by promoting positive interaction, you’ll also experience results in all other social aspects: more classroom participation, less disciplinary cases, decreased bullying, etc...
Wheel of Fortune runs as a supplement to your normal classroom week, so there’s no need to change up your normally planned material, as the game runs in the background over the course of several days.
This packet structures the basic setup for you, but you’ll also be able to customize the week as much as you desire. Provided is a link to an electronic wheel on a webpage. Throughout class each day, you can call on a student to take a turn spinning the wheel. If it lands on a number, they will look up the number in the printout List of Fortunes (you’ll be able to actually edit and make these specific for your class before printing), and then do whatever challenge it gives them.
